Alexandria, La., April 12, 2018 — Practical Nursing students attending Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) who are on track to graduate in May will have an opportunity to meet prospective employers at the college’s Senior Day and Health Care Career Fair. The event is Friday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. at the Louisiana State University Alexandria (LSUA) Evacuation Center.
CLTCC’s nursing faculty and staff are hosting the event to help prepare their seniors for the workforce. More than 100 Practical Nursing students will be in attendance, along with approximately 40 employers and agencies from the health care industry. The seniors are scheduled to graduate next month, and they will be entering the health care industry after successful completion of the Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Exam.
