CLTCC Natchitoches Campus Approved As HiSET Testing Location

Alexandria, La., Jan. 25, 2018 — The Natchitoches Campus of Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) was recently approved as a testing location for the HiSET® exam, which is the new GED® test.

Individuals without a high school diploma must take and pass the HiSET exam to earn a state- issued high school equivalency diploma.  Passing the HiSET proves that students have the same academic knowledge, proficiency, and career-readiness skills as traditional high school graduates.  The Natchitoches Campus offers free HiSET preparation classes through WorkReady U, the adult education and career readiness program for adult learners.  WorkReady U allows students to simultaneously obtain a high school equivalency diploma, postsecondary credential, and training to earn a high-wage, high-demand career.

The upcoming testing dates for the HiSET exam at the Natchitoches Campus are Jan. 29,   Feb. 26, March 26, and April 30.  Testing times for each of these days are 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
