Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Held at Alexandria Campus
Alexandria, La., Nov. 14, 2018 -- Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) Alexandria Campus in partnership with Versona, a retail clothing store in the Alexandria Mall, hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for a new boutique designed to help students enrolled in the Business program dress for success.
“Students enrolled in Business Office Administration at the Alexandria Campus can select clothing for job interviews and professional positions as they transition from college into the workforce,” said Lisa Henton, Business Program Chair and Instructor. “We are grateful for Versona’s generosity. The startup of this boutique would not be possible without their support.”
Clothing donated by Versona is brand new and includes blouses, jackets, pants, dresses as well as accessories.
“Each store receives grassroots funding to give back to the community while at the same time promote the store,” said Michelle Richard, Store Manager. “We are excited to help launch the CLTCC Alexandria Business Boutique, and we hope this is the beginning of a sustainable resource for current and future students.”
