Coronavirus (COVID)-19: Chancellor's Update March 19, 2020

CLTCC Committed to Providing Services to Students and Cenla
College to Provide Services Through Online and Alternate Delivery Methods

As we all do our part in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to thank and commend everyone for your efforts in working towards a safer environment. Our primary focus is continuing high-quality instruction and services to CLTCC Students and Stakeholders across Central Louisiana. In addition, CLTCC and I extend our heartfelt sentiments that you and yours remain in good stead during this season.

Since our previous updates, we are establishing new measures to do our part in ‘flattening the curve’ on trends associated with Coronavirus (COVID-19).  Beginning today, all CLTCC Campus facilities are closed through Spring Break (March 27) when we will continue to evaluate the status of phasing in on-site services.

We are making the following adjustments:

  •  We’ve moved Spring Break to next week so Students can adjust to the sweeping changes, including tending to loved ones.
  •  All CLTCC Employees are working remotely and are preparing for instruction when Students "return" via online delivery (March 30).
  • We remain accessible through phone calls, e-mails, online classrooms, and social media.

Again, our mission is serving students by empowering our Faculty and Staff.  We will continue to work remotely to best serve you. Thank you very much for your support and leadership during this season.  To contact us please e-mail us at info@cltcc.edu or call us at (800) 278-9855.  If you know the e-mail or contact number for the CLTCC employee you are needing to reach, please feel welcome to contact them directly. For further updates, please follow our social media or access the latest updates online at www.CLTCC.edu.

Thank you,
James R. ‘Jimmy’ Sawtelle III
Chancellor
