Certified Nurse Aide Examination

Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) recognizes the need to facilitate certification testing for individuals who have completed approved Nurse Aide Training (NAT) programs or have followed other Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) approved alternate routes. This policy outlines CLTCC's commitment to providing testing services for a diverse range of candidates, including CLTCC students, third-party program completers, and individuals eligible for alternate routes as determined by LDH. The CNA Exam application requires the applicant's legal name. The name on the required proof of identification must match the name on the application.   

**Applicants must attach a certificate of completion from an approved program or an approval letter to test from LDH.**
