  • Additional scholarship opportunities are available for Adult Education students. 
• Student is responsible for securing and funding the following items prior to enrolling in class:
  • learner's permit
  • drug screen 
  • DOT physical

Course Description

CDL training is a for anyone wanting to drive commercial trucks. The commercial driver’s license training is an instructional program which is intended to help students prepare to obtain their CDL license. In order to work as a commercial truck driver, one must obtain the appropriate license. 

Eligibility Requirements

• 18 years old
• Must pass background check and drug screen
• Valid LA Driver's License with no flags

Class Details

• 5 weeks of instruction
• 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
• 1 week of skills demonstration and state examination
