  • The Ward H. Nash Avoyelles Campus was established in 1946. It’s located in Avoyelles Parish in the town of Cottonport.
  • The Ward H. Nash Avoyelles Campus offers career and technical education programs, general education courses, high school dual enrollment, and workforce development training.
  • Career and technical education programs at the Ward H. Nash Avoyelles Campus include Business Office Administration, Patient Care Technician, Practical Nursing and Welding Technology.

  • The Ward H. Nash Avoyelles Campus hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. During the summer, the campus operates on a four-day work-week schedule. Faculty and staff work four 10-hour days, Monday - Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Accreditation 

Central Louisiana Technical Community College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE). The main campus and each branch campus within CLTCC is currently accredited by COE, respectively, and will be included in the regional accreditation process.  This accreditation means that, nationwide, CLTCC will be recognized as meeting standards of training acceptable for accreditation.

Central Louisiana Technical Community College is a candidate for accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate degrees. Central Louisiana Technical Community College also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
