Job Opportunities for Students


Federal Work-Study Program

The Federal Work-Study Program provides part-time jobs for college students with financial need, allowing them to earn money while in school to help pay education expenses. Work Study students can work as tutors, provide clerical assistance, customer service, or maintenance support, or work in areas related to their program of study. The average compensation is $10 per hour. To apply for Work Study, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  If awarded Work Study, students must complete a CLTCC Work-Study packet.

Regular Student Worker at CLTCC

When the budget allows, some campus departments may hire students as workers with general funds or special grant funding. As a regular student worker, you can work as a tutor, provide clerical, customer service, or maintenance support, or work in areas related to your program of study. The average compensation is $10 per hour. To apply for a position as a regular student worker, contact Human Resources.
