Commencement Ceremony for 2019 is approaching!
If you completed your program in Summer 2018, Fall 2018 or will complete in Spring 2019, please complete the graduation application if you have not done so. Note: You must have your degree audit completed by your program advisor/instructor and attached to the graduation application before submitting it to Student Services. Completed graduation applications are due to your campus Student Services Department before March 15th. If you submit your application after March 15th, you will be assessed a late fee of $50 and will not be eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony and your name will not be included in the commencement program.
Students that have completed their Hi-Set and want to participate in the ceremony should complete the form also.
Cap and gown orders will be placed using the information provided on the graduation application. The date and time for cap and gown pickup will be sent at a later date to your email address. Future communications regarding the commencement ceremony will only be sent via email to students who have completed the graduation application. Please be sure to use a current email and phone number on the graduation application in case further information is needed. Please check your emails regularly for up to date information regarding the commencement ceremony.
Ceremony Date and Time: Thursday, May 16th at 10 a.m.
Location: Pentecostals of Alexandria, 2817 Rapides Ave., Alexandria, LA 71301
Students arrival time: 8:45 a.m.
Number of guests: No limit
Special Accommodations: Degree candidates who require special accommodations (i.e., mobility impaired, visually impaired, etc.) for the ceremony must contact the Registrar's Office at (318) 487-5443 ext 1132 two weeks prior to the ceremony. Handicapped parking will be limited but available near the church (please have proper tag visible).
Diplomas: Diploma covers will be given on the stage during the ceremony. Students are to remain in correct line up when leaving the ceremony to pick up their diplomas at the appropriate check out area.
